beautiful architecture cute smile rude staff ignored orders
the building features beautiful architecture, and i found it to be a dream come true. christ, the doorman, was an added bonus, his cute smile kept the mansion house alive!
The service in the lounge was not good. staff seemed rude and ignored us. It was quite a shock.

charming stay at historic hotel
friendly doorman warm welcome beautiful suite delicious chocolate
i enjoyed the drive up to the mansion house. it felt special with wild deer visible. the doorman offered a warm welcome, he was always friendly. the staff remembered me from previous visits. the history of the place felt engaging. it gave the impression of staying in a grand country home, not just a hotel. i was upgraded to a beautiful roof garden suite. it included delicious chocolates and a hand-signed note. a nespresso machine was a great touch.
The floors creaked a lot. It was possible to hear people walking in the corridor, and the doors shutting was distracting.

wonderful stay, great service!
maintained character extensive grounds many options
The building maintained real character. the breakfast included many options and was served in the wernher restaurant. i enjoyed walking around the grounds. They are quite extensive! the vast size meant i hardly saw anyone else during my walk.
the spa was busy, and the reception staff could have been more helpful!

The grounds are vast and beautiful. I enjoyed exploring them. peacocks frequent the site so keep an eye out for those outside your window. the concierge services offer cars to drive you to and from the spa.

well-kept character great breakfast bad smell changing area
the building kept its well-kept character! we had a great breakfast in the main wernher restaurant. it was hot and well cooked. the restaurant itself is a sight to behold.
I hoped to go swimming around 6pm but the smell in the women's changing area was bad. It was worse than in a very poor care home. i couldn't face going into the pool, so i missed out on swimming.

charmed by the experience
beautiful grounds espa products private tour comfortable staff
the grounds were beautiful and well maintained, a true pleasure to walk through. i especially enjoyed my massage with fatima, whose expertise and use of espa products left me feeling rejuvenated. chris, the doorman, gave us an unexpected private tour showing us the chapel and even the queen's suite! the staff in all departments ensured our comfort.
the room's temperature was difficult to regulate. we did sleep with the balcony doors open and the heating on.

The spa provides robes and a variety of treatments . Espa products are used. the golf course is 18-hole! the hotel provides transport to the spa with small children and luggage.

varinder demonstrated detailed knowledge of the drinks and food during afternoon tea, providing excellent service. the reception staff helped fit us in for dinner, despite the restaurant being full, the staff are kind and helpful.

breakfast offers an excellent selection of items. the afternoon tea features cakes and sandwiches made with great detail! the restaurant manager showed other guests their tables and took their tea and coffee orders.

pool closures dated room
The spa's pools and hot tubs were closed! this was due to what they called emergency repairs. it was disappointing, the swimming pool at warren weir was available. It was a walk from the main house. my room felt dated. It seemed like the 1990s.
